Detectives from the Police Department’s Robbery Unit have obtained warrants for Love’s arrest, according to a Prince William police report. A female suspect in the robbery, Kendal Renee Stanley, 18, of Manassas, has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and two counts of criminal solicitation
Stanley, of 10350 Launch Circle, #304, is being held without bond in the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center. Her next court date is March 17.
The victim of the attempted robbery told police that he had made arrangements to meet with a female acquaintance in the 10300 block of Launch Circle on the evening of Jan. 16.
Once there, the victim encountered an unknown man (identified as Love) who displayed a knife and demanded money, the police report said. The victim refused and pulled out his own knife, which caused Love to flee. No property or money was taken.
Prince William police detectives identified Stanley as the female acquaintance and determined that she arranged for Love to rob the victim, the police report said. Stanley was arrested on Jan. 17.
