Thanksgiving in Manassas: What's Opened/Closed

Not everything closes on Thanksgiving, and thanks to a push from Black Friday shoppers more and more stores open their doors after you recover from a turkey coma. If you want to start shopping early, or need to pick up a few last minute ingredients for your holiday meal check here before you head out.

City offices closed:

• No trash will be picked up Thanksgiving Day. If you are scheduled to have trash service on Nov. 27 it will be picked up Nov. 29.
• City Hall will be closed on Thanksgiving and the following day Nov. 28.
• All city government offices will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Nov. 28.

The Department of Public Works Landfill and Yard Waste Facility will be closed on Thanksgiving.

Target, opens at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving day, but Black Friday deals started Nov. 10

Kohl’s, opens at 6 p.m.

Best Buy, opens at 5 p.m.

Staples, opens at 6 p.m.

Toys R Us, opens at 5 p.m.

RadioShack, open from 8 a.m. to noon

Office Depot, open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Michaels, opens at 4 p.m.

Walgreens and Rite Aid, open at 8 a.m.

Old Navy, opens at 4 p.m.
