2 Tysons Hotels Among Most Booked In DC Area
A few Tysons hotels are in greater demand than many downtown DC hotels, a new analysis of bookings shows.
TYSONS, VA—Tysons is no doubt a business hub in Northern Virginia, but is it a tourist hub as well? Some new data on hotel bookings from Expedia seem to indicate yes.
USA Today reports two Tysons hotels are among the top five hotels booked in the DC area. The Westin Tysons Corner ranks third and Embassy Suites Hotel Tysons Corner fifth among DC's most popular hotels.
They are among the likes of big-name hotels in downtown DC such as the Liaison Capitol Hill and the historic Omni Shoreham Hotel.

In all five hotels are from Northern Virginia, with other top bookings hailing from Arlington. Just one hotel was from Maryland; the Best Western Plus Rockville Hotel and Suites ranked 20th.
