At Georgetown, Bosch hopes to study chemistry, neuroscience, or business. He is eager to join the baseball program and work alongside the coaching staff. “Coach Pete Wilk’s emphasis on coming to practice to play hard each day and putting in the work is an attitude that will help me grow and become better as a player,” Bosch says. “I’ve talked to a couple of current Georgetown players and they’ve all been very positive. In addition, the team recently brought in a new pitching coach from Wake Forest, and I feel like he’s someone I can learn from as well.”
Courtlynne Caskin, a senior at The Potomac School, has committed to play Division I lacrosse for the University of Virginia (image 2).

A four-year varsity athlete in three sports, Caskin has earned many accolades during her time playing lacrosse, soccer, and basketball at Potomac. This fall, she captained the soccer team and broke the team’s scoring record. As a junior, Caskin captained the basketball team, for which she scored over 1,000 points, and also captained the lacrosse team.
Caskin was named to the All-League AA soccer team as a junior and senior and to the All-League A team in the sport as a freshman and sophomore. Additionally, she was named to the All-League A basketball team and All-League AA lacrosse team as both a sophomore and junior. Those same two years, Caskin received a Washington Post All-Met honorable mention in lacrosse and was named to the All-State first team. Finally, she was named to the All-State basketball second team for 2016-17 and was a 2017 All-American in lacrosse.
The University of Virginia recruited Caskin for lacrosse when she was entering her sophomore year at Potomac. She says, “I found UVA to be the perfect combination of sports and academics. In that way, it reminded me a lot of Potomac. I also like how close it is to home, as my parents will be able to watch my games.”
Devon Flowers, a senior at The Potomac School, has committed to play Division I basketball for Loyola University Maryland (image 3).
Flowers, who transferred from Gonzaga College High School as a junior, has played on Potomac’s varsity basketball team for the past two years and is a captain this season. Last year, The Washington Post cited his team-high 14-point average at Potomac, and he also received All-MAC honors in the sport.
Flowers is undecided on a major but is interested in business. With respect for playing for the Greyhounds, he says, “Their assistant coach was an NBA player, and the head coach played for Georgia. I know I can learn a lot from the coaching staff. And, when I met the team, they were very friendly and we bonded right away.”
