Investigators Seek Information About Abandoned McLean House Fire
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says the abandoned house is frequented by young adults and teenagers.

MCLEAN, VA —An abandoned house in McLean went up in flames on Halloween night, causing $621,400 in damages.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to the 1000 block of Bellview Road around 11:25 p.m. on Oct. 31. The house was partially collapsed with fire through the roof. No injuries resulted from the fire.
Fire investigators were on the scene, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation. Damages were reported to be $621,400.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue investigators are asking anyone in the area between 7 p.m. and midnight on Halloween night and saw anything suspicious to contact the Office of the Fire Marshall. This house was known to be frequented by teenagers and young adults. Parents of older children who may have been in the area on Halloween night are asked to check if they have any information.
Fire investigators also want to hear from anyone in the area during the two weeks leading up to Halloween who noticed any suspicious people, activity, or vehicles. Those who have security footage between Oct. 17 through Nov. 1 are asked to contact investigators.
