After 35 Years, Georganne's Hallmark Store in McLean to Close

The Georgann’s Hallmark store in McLean, long a friendly face on the retail scene in the area for some 35 years, will soon be closing its doors, according to store employees.

The store, located at 1312 Chain Bridge Road, is holding a 60 percent off holiday sale and 25 percent sale off everything else before closing its doors sometime in February.

The shopping center was previously home to a Blockbuster that closed and made way for a new Rite Aid store.

The owner of the Hallmark store is also the owner of two other Hallmark stores — one in Herndon and the other in Oakton.
