Fredericksburg Comic Con

Comic Con returns to the Fredericksburg Convention Center, 2371 Carl D. Silver Parkway, Comicon Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The two-day event celebrates comics, anime, gaming, movies and pop culture with celebrity guests, artists, vendors, cosplay, panels and family-friendly activities. Tickets range from $15 to $50, and children ages 10 and younger are admitted free with a paid adult.

Prince William County Fair

July 31-Aug. 8, 2026, at the Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas. The fair features carnival rides, livestock, grandstand events, rodeos, fireworks and classic fair food.

Black Pride RVA

July 16-19, 2026, at locations across Richmond. The multi-day celebration highlights Black LGBTQ+ culture with community gatherings, educational programs, entertainment and parties.

Spotsylvania In The American Revolution: A Virtual Exhibit

Available year-round online. The virtual exhibit explores Spotsylvania County’s role in the American Revolution through photographs, documents and historical interpretation.

America’s 250th Passport At Fairfax City Museum & Visitor Center

Available during museum hours at the Fairfax City Museum & Visitor Center. Visitors can collect an America’s 250th commemorative passport stamp while learning about Fairfax City’s Revolutionary War history.

Arlington County Fair

Aug. 12-16, 2026, at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center in Arlington. The fair includes carnival rides, live entertainment, midway games, vendors and family-friendly activities.

High Knob Outdoor Fest

Summer 2026 at the High Knob Recreation Area in Norton. The outdoor festival showcases Southwest Virginia’s mountains with hiking, biking, paddling, nature activities and live entertainment.

Sinkland Farms 5th Annual Sunflower Festival

Late July-August 2026 at Sinkland Farms in Christiansburg. Visitors can walk through blooming sunflower fields, take photos, enjoy farm activities, food vendors and family entertainment.

Sounds Of Summer Concert Series Featuring Band Of Oz

Summer 2026 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Band of Oz headlines this outdoor concert as part of Virginia Beach’s Sounds of Summer series.

90th Annual Galax Old Fiddlers Convention

Aug. 3-8, 2026, at Felts Park in Galax. The convention is a major old-time and bluegrass music festival featuring competitions, concerts, camping and jam sessions.
