Annandale Pedestrian Killed In Dec. 30 Crash In McLean: Police
A pedestrian was struck outside a crosswalk on Chain Bridge Road, according to Fairfax County Police.

TYSONS, VA — A pedestrian was killed on Chain Bridge Road in Tyson on Dec. 30, according to Fairfax County Police.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. on Chain Bridge Road just south of Tysons Boulevard, which is north of Tysons Corner Center and near the Tysons Corner Metro Station. The pedestrian was crossing Chain Bridge Road from west to east outside a crosswalk just south of Tysons Boulevard. The driver of a 2010 Toyota Camry heading south on Chain Bridge Road struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries. He was identified as Filadelfo Ramos Marquez, 74, of Annandale.

This was the 14th pedestrian fatality of 2021 in Fairfax County. Police do not believe speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
