Baddpizza is owned by Joel Salamone and Steven Houck, two men with ties to Buffalo, New York. Houck, whose nickname "Stevie Badd" inspired the restaurant name, has worked in the Buffalo pizza and wings restaurant business for over 25 years. Salamone, a Buffalo native, moved to the DC area in 1999. He was motivated to start baddpizza after finding Buffalo pizza and wings options were lacking. The two teamed up in 2018 and has opened its first location at 25150 Loudoun County Parkway in South Riding.
