17-year-old teen is suspected of making the threat that closed the school for a day last week.

A McLean area teen was the source of a bomb threat at McLean High School on March 2, according to Fairfax County Police.
The incident early in the school day led police and administrators to close the school for the day and bus students home. It was determined later in the day that the bomb threat was a hoax.
Detectives were able to pinpoint the source of the threat and were able to determine the suspect was the 17-year-old male whose name was not released.
