Burglar Flees After Middle-of-the-Night Alarm Sounds at McLean Home
Residents heard alarm and found their garage door open and items taken at home on Centrillion Drive, police say.
An alarm apparently sent a burglar running in the middle of the night Wednesday from a McLean home, according to police.
But not before stealing items from the garage, according to police.
Police reported the burglary of an occupied dwelling took place in the early hours Wednesday, at 1:54 a.m., in the 800 block of Centrillion Drive, off of Georgetown Pike. The neighborhood features multimillion-dollar homes.

The victims awoke to their residential alarm and discovered their garage door was partially open, police said. Property was taken, police reported.
