Burlington Opens As New Shopping Option In Tysons
The new store in the former Sports Authority location will have giveaways and activities on Saturday.
TYSONS, VA — Burlington introduced a new location at Tysons Square Shopping Center, 8355 Leesburg Pike in Tysons on Friday, Sept. 20.
Grand opening activities will continue into Saturday, Sept. 21. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., customers can visit for gift card giveaways, kids’ activities, a DJ and more.
"This new location brings jobs to the community, and provides a great shopping experience for the entire family," said Burlington Stores CEO and Chairman Tom Kingsburyin a statement. "Whether they’re looking for brand-name clothing, stylish home décor items, or anything for baby, customers will enjoy significant savings and discover new merchandise arrivals each week."

The 42,900-square-foot store is in the former Sports Authority location. The sports goods retailer closed all stores after filing for bankruptcy in 2016.
The store hired around 85 associates. Store hours for Burlington are 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
