Congratulations, Class of 2015

Twenty - eight McLean Youth Soccer Alumni Sign National Letter of Intent to Play Soccer in College

National Letter of Intent Signing Day was a busy day for many of the McLean U18 Girls players. Twenty-eight (28) members of the MYS Class of 2015 signed their Letter of Intent to attend a total of 19 universities across the United States as they look to begin the next stage of their soccer development.

Four of the players will be attending 2014 College Cup Finalists University of Virginia, including Ayan Adu, Alexandra Connell, Mia Hoen-Beck and Lorato Sargeant. University of Kentucky and Virginia Tech will each welcome a trio of McLean Alum - - Rebecca Callison, Kaitlyn Forsht and Katelyn Jensen are joining the Wildcats; and Alia Abu Hawa, Kristina Diana and Caroline Kerns are joining the Hokies. Clare Beahn and Jarena Harmon head to the University of Pittsburgh, while Stephanie Stahl and Sidney Tison will be teammates at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Other Division I soccer commitments include: Audrey Denkler (American University), Rubii Tamen (Amherst College), Amber Stearns (Boston College), Lauren Harkes (Clemson University), Jennifer Riemer (Elon University), Hannah Natanson (Harvard College), Ta-Tiana Brodie (Howard University), Elise Andrich (Lipscomb University), Karina Castillo (Mercer University), Kristin Schnurr (Penn State University), Samantha Scaffidi (St. John’s University), Maura Aman (University of Central Florida), Sara Wilson (University of Florida), and Madison Crowe (Villanova University)
