Craigslist Robbery, Four Area Larcenies: McLean District Reports

The Fairfax County Police Department listed a handful of crimes in its McLean district on Thursday evening’s “Daily Police Blotter,” including one Craigslist-related robbery.

The suspect and the victim reportedly met on Craigslist, where they arranged the sale of a phone at the 8100 block of Leesburg Pike. When the two met in person, the suspect took the victim’s cash and then fled without exchanging the phone.

The suspect was described to police as being a black male about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, wearing a black t-shirt and pants.

• 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, cash and property from business.
• 2000 block of International Drive, merchandise from business.
• 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, merchandise from business.
• 8400 block of Broad Street, property from vehicle.
