Delegate Candidate Kathleen Murphy, Volunteers to Go Door to Door Saturday in McLean
Murphy is running for the Virginia House of Delegates in open seat after Barbara Comstock elected to Congress.

Kathleen Murphy, Democratic candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates, will be joined by supporters and volunteers to launch a day of door-knocking in McLean Saturday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. Murphy is building off of momentum from her campaign kick-off earlier this week as Democratic officials and fired-up supporters came together to celebrate her candidacy. She will be joined by Delegate Rip Sullivan, himself the victor of a recent special election and another strong fighter for Northern Virginia.
Virginia’s special election to fill the open 34th District seat is Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.
A Fairfax leader for more than 20 years, Murphy is a small business owner, former senior official at the U.S. Department of Commerce and senior congressional aide. An advocate for women, children and military families, Murphy has decades of experience bringing together a diverse array of people to fight for a common goal.
