The February meeting of the McLean Historical Society will feature local historian Carole Herrick giving a lecture on the Battle of Lewinsville. This September 11, 1861 battle resulted in JEB Stuart earning his renowned cavalry command. Mrs. Herrick is the Dranesville District representative on the Fairfax County History Commission and author of several books on McLean history. Refreshments provided.
