MCLEAN, VA — McLean Citizens Association will be hosting a Senior Safety Summit on Wednesday, April 24, giving residents an opportunity to hear from representatives of Fairfax County's public safety departments.

Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis and Fire & Rescue Chief John Butler will deliver opening remarks along with MCA President Linda Walsh and Betsy May-Salazar, executive director of the McLean Community Center. Other public safety personnel participating in the summit include:

  • Marlon R. Murphy, FRD policy advisor
  • Lt. Deanna Weand, FCPD community engagement and equity bureau
  • Battalion Chief Matt Cox, FRD Station 29 Tysons, BC 402,
  • Capt. Derek Gray, FCPD Commander McLean District Station
  • Patrick Smaldore, McLean Citizens Association public safety liaison
