Fairfax Police Search for Suspects in Brazen McLean District Burglary

Police say the men broke into a business in the middle of the afternoon earlier this month.

Fairfax County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying three burglars who broke into a business in Merrifield in the middle of the afternoon earlier this month.

Detectives from the McLean District Station are investigating the incident, in which three men forced their way into a building in the 2800 block of Merrilee Drive at around 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12, according to a police statement.

Offiers responded to a commercial burglary alarm and found an unsecured door. After reviewing the surveillance footage, they were able to collect images of the men.

"Suspect one was described as white, 40 to 50 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds," the statement reads. "Suspect two was of unknown race, 30 to 40 years old. He was approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds. Suspect three was 30 to 40 years old. He was of unknown race, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 190 to 220 pounds."
