Falls Church Man Charged With Sexual Battery At In-Home Daycare
McLean Police arrested Santiago Alvarado Garcia, 50, of Falls Church on charges of sexual battery against a child at an in-home day-care.

McLEAN, VA – A Falls Church man has been arrested after a child reported being inappropriately touched at an in-home daycare last week.
Major Crimes Bureau detectives arrested Santiago Alvarado Garcia, 50, of Falls Church in Fairfax County on Friday, March 27, and charged him with three counts of aggravated sexual battery. Police were notified on Thursday, March 26, that a child at the Digna Alvarado Garcia Daycare said they had been inappropriately touched by Garcia.
The daycare has been in operation since 2016 and is currently located at 2988 Monticello Drive. It was previously located at 7503 Parkwood Court. According to police, Garcia, who works for a general contractor, has lived at both locations at his primary residences while the daycare was in operation.

Anyone who is concerned their child may have had inappropriate contact with Garcia is encouraged to contact Fairfax County Police.
Specialists from the Fairfax County Police Victim Services Division have been assigned to help the victim in this case receive appropriate resources and assistance.
