The 84-year-old woman hit by a car Thursday afternoon in McLean reportedly has "life-threatening injuries," according to NBC 4.

The woman was hit by a red Dodge Charger just before 5 p.m., causing major traffic back-ups near the intersection of Chain Bridge Road and Laughlin Avenue. 
No word on whether the driver, who stopped, will be charged.
