Firefighters Battle Massive Fire At Vacant McLean Home

There was no word on how the fire broke out, but no injuries were reported.

MCLEAN, VA—A sizable fire broke out at a vacant McLean home early Wednesday morning, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Around 4 a.m., units responded to the 900 block of Turkey Run Road. The two-story home initially had fire showing from the roof. According to a tweet from 5:52 a.m., the fire was out, and units were hitting hot spots.

There were no reports of injuries. No Red Cross assistance was not needed, as the home was unoccupied. Damages are estimated to be $314,640.
