Fitness Studio To Open This Summer At The Boro In Tysons

A new fitness studio has been announced to open at the multi-phase Boro development in Tysons.

TYSONS, VA—Fitness studio F45 Training announced it will open in the late summer at The Boro development in Tysons. It will be located at on a second-level retail space at 1640 Boro Place Suite #206.

"The Boro is the perfect home for F45 Training and we are thrilled to bring this fitness concept to the vibrant Tysons community," said Doug Crawford and Jeff Harnois, who co-own F45 Tysons and the recently-opened F45 Ashburn. "The project development meshes extremely well with our brand. The Boro will be a premier destination in Northern Virginia and we are excited to be a part of it."

F45 Training combines three training styles—interval, cardiovascular and strength training—into one. It has 31 different 45-minute workouts using this combined training style. On top of that, the workouts have over 4,000 exercises that are rotated daily. This method of training is intended to be effective for burning fat and building lean muscle.

The 2,310-square-foot F45 Tysons fitness studio will have multi-screen LCD TVs displaying all exercises, heart rate technology for performance tracking, live DJ mixes and F45 FM music, full locker rooms and showers and a network of coaches.

The Boro is a multi-phase development around Leesburg Pike, Westpark Drive and Greensboro Drive. The development features multiple buildings with residential, retail and office uses. The first phase will have a ShowPlace Icon theater and Whole Foods Market, according to Washington Business Journal. Some tenants have begun moving into the Boro Tower.
