Free Concerts In The Park Held Throughout Summer In McLean

The eight free concerts bring some family-friendly fun to McLean's Central Park during the summer.

In summer, we can do just about everything everything outdoors, none of the least being free events just outside your backyard.

The Summer Concerts in the Park will return to McLean Central Park with eight free, family-friendly shows. A kickoff concert will happen Sunday, June 3 at 5 p.m. with Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets. The group's Grammy award-winning album “Home” weaves together childhood memories with textured pop tunes, which is sure to turn the park’s gazebo into a dance party.

The remaining seven concerts are scheduled Sundays from July 1 through August 12. These free concerts will begin at 5 p.m. Free parking is available at Dolley Madison Library, 1244 Oak Ridge Ave.
