Free Harvest Happenings Event Coming Up In McLean

Looking for something fall-related to do this weekend? You won't have to go far for Harvest Happenings.

Fall officially begins Saturday, Sept. 22, and there's no better time for McLean to host a fall-themed festival. The McLean Community Center's Harvest Happening event is set for Sept. 22 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at St. Luke’s School, 7005 Georgetown Pike, McLean.

The family-friendly event features live entertainment, crafts and other activities indoors and outdoors and is aimed toward children ages three to eight. Children can decorate their own pumpkins picked from the pumpkin patch.

Food will be available for purchase. The event is free to attend. All activities are free, with the exception of purchasing pumpkins to decorate.
