Future Wegmans Store In Tysons Is Hiring

TYSONS, VA — The future Wegmans grocery store at 1835 Capital One Drive South in Tysons is hiring ahead of its opening later this year. A job listing indicates the grand opening will happen in fall 2020.

The store is hiring for a number of full-time positions: kitchen manager, cook, manager, fresh foods customer service, restaurant foods customer service, product stockers, dishwasher, custodian, cashier supervisor, cash office and overnight operations.

These job listings will be active until Feb. 29, while training and on-boarding for new hires will begin in April 2020. Applicants should be available to travel to other Wegmans stores in Virginia and have open availability on weekends between 6 a.m. and midnight, unless specified otherwise for a position. The positions are for year-round employment.

Interviews will be held at the Wegmans hiring office, 8300 Boone Boulevard, Suite 200, Vienna, VA 22182.

The 80,000-square-foot Wegmans store will be located on the Capital One campus. Among the features expected are sushi, pizza, coffee, an expansive cheese section and Burger Bar.
