Gas Leak Closes McLean Community Center Monday

MCLEAN, VA — A small gas leak prompted a fire department response Monday morning.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue tweeted after 7 a.m. that units responded to a small leak in the building. The situation is under control, and the gas company was set to arrive.

The incident happened before the center typically opens to the public until 8 a.m. McLean Community Center said it would be closed for the day. The Old Firehouse is open on a regular schedule. Residents can check for updates at www.mcleancenter.org.
