Great Falls Brings Fun Outside with Concerts on the Green Series

The free concert series takes place each Sunday night at 6 p.m. through Sept. 7 on the Great Falls Village Center Green.

Nothing screams summertime like the chance to spend time with your family and friends in the summer sun, and Great Falls has provided Northern Virginians with that opportunity all summer long through its Concerts on the Green series.

The town holds concerts in the Great Falls Village Center Green each Sunday night beginning at 6 p.m., and these concerts are free and open to the public.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs to set up their own picnic areas as they enjoy the concerts. The family-friendly musicians perform from the gazebo in the middle of the Green, which leaves plenty of space for parents to make camp without forfeiting space for their children to run around and play as the concerts take place.

Adults without children in tow also have the opportunity to enjoy the music from the shops and restaurants throughout the Village Center, including the Old Brogue.

Including this Sunday (July 19), there are only seven concerts remaining on the schedule, as well as an open date on Aug. 16 in case one of the shows is rained out and needs to be rescheduled.
