Watch a video of the celebration here, courtesy of Fairfax County.

Colvin Run Mill and General Store was recently restored and a celebration was held Sunday to mark the occasion (watch the video below).

Fun things you can do at the mill:

  • Have a picnic
  • Shop at the general store for stone ground cornmeal, wheat flour and grits, “penny” candy, toys, books, snacks and drinks.
  • Take a short stroll on the nature trail or a longer hike on the nearby Cross County or Rails to River trails.

From February through December, you can enjoy special programs including live music, craft demonstrations, ice cream making, seasonal activities and summer camp. For more detailed information see Programs/Classes/Camps.
