Helping McLean Age Well - McLean Senior Souce

In McLean, 30% of the population is 55 years or older, which is disproportionate given that the median age in Fairfax County is under 40 years. Does this resemble your community?

In May 2013, John W. Foust, the Dranesville District Supervisor announced the launch of McLean Senior Source (MSS) that offers free information and guidance on how to access available services and resources from Fairfax County and non-profits that older residents and adults with disabilities need but often don't know exist.

McLean Senior Source was created to help older adults and adults with disabilities find resources and services to cope with serious conditions such as visual impairment, loss of hearing, dementia, loss of balance, the ravages of loneliness and isolation, poverty, as well as find transportation solutions, entertainment, life-enrichment and socialization opportunities and get legal and financial advice.
