Indecent Exposure, Reckless Driving Reported in McLean District

Fairfax County Police are still searching for a suspect who exposed himself to a victim attempting to exit a parking garage elevator.

The incident occurred at 8 a.m. last Thursday (Aug. 6) on the 8100 block of Leesburg Pike. The victim told police that when the elevator stopped on a floor and the doors opened, the man in question approached the elevator and exposed himself.

The victim quickly shut the elevator doors, and the suspect fled. Police arrived on the scene but could not find the suspect upon searching the area.

The victim described the suspect as a black male in his early 20s, sporting an athletic build. He is about 5-foot-5 and was wearing a gray hoodie with the hood up and gray shorts at the time of the incident.

Police also reported a case of reckless driving that took place in the early morning hours on Thursday (Aug. 13).

Authorities attempted to stop a moped driving recklessly near the intersection at approximately 3:30 a.m., but the moped driver ignored police signals and fled.

Police were able to locate the moped on Arlington Boulevard near Gallows Road, and found the driver to be a juvenile. The driver was taken into custody, and police confirmed charges are pending.
