Indulge at 8th Annual McLean Chocolate Festival

Chocolate lovers' favorite day is coming up in McLean. The seventh annual McLean Chocolate Festival is set for Sunday, Jan. 27 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at The McLean Community Center.
Attendees can sample chocolate-flavored desserts from local businesses and not feel guilty about it. After all, it's for a good cause, with proceeds going to McLean Rotary to support local organizations.
Participating businesses offer either a chocolate product or something similar, such as cakes, cupcakes, cookies, drinks and ice cream. This year's lineup includes:

David Borghesani the Chocolate History Research Manager for Mars Wrigley Confectionery US will give a talk on the history of chocolate. The event will also include performances by The Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology Show Choir, Adagio School of Dance, The Sunshine Band and Sharon Byer, principal flutist for Capitol City Symphony.
