Isabella Eatery In Tysons Is Struggling: Report
The food hall has consolidated its concepts and cut some menu offerings since it opened late last year.

TYSONS, VA—In between a lawsuit from an employee claiming sexual harassment and others from landlords seeking unpaid rent, Mike Isabella's biggest project is showing signs of difficulty.
A new report from Washingtonian indicates Isabella Eatery at Tysons Galleria has eliminated some staff and menu items recently. On top of that some employees reportedly didn't have their checks go through, and an anonymous real estate professional claimed the space was seeking potential buyers.
Isabella Eatery originally had seven concepts, but the concepts have consolidated their offerings to one menu, aside from Retro Creamery and Non-Fiction Coffee.

In an interview with the magazine, Isabella said the lawsuit from the former employee claiming sexual harassment negatively impacted his businesses. The lawsuit was settled earlier this year.
"We’re not closing, it’s been a slow summer," Isabella told Washingtonian. "Just trying to work with our partnership and landlords to help us out."
