Man Dies After Injury At Tysons Construction Site: Police
Material that fell at the construction site hit the man, according to Fairfax County Police.
TYSONS, VA — Fairfax County Police say a man died in a construction site accident in Tysons Monday.
The man was working as a sub-contractor at a construction site in the 1600 block of Capital One Drive. Around 7:30 a.m., rebar being lifted by a crane fell and struck the man. He was taken to the hospital and died of his injuries.
The man was identified as Nelson Aguilar-Salamanca, 55, of Maryland. The medical examiner is working to confirm the cause of death.

No other injuries occurred. The Major Crimes Bureau’s Victim Services Division is providing resources to the victim's family.
