Man Killed After Bucket Truck Strikes Power Line In McLean: Police
Police closed Georgetown Pike/VA-193 between Colonial Farm Road and Langley Lane Monday afternoon for a death investigation.

MCLEAN, MD — A man who was operating a bucket truck in the McLean area was killed Monday when the truck stuck a power line, according to a 2:13 p.m. post on the Fairfax County Police Department's official Twitter account. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives investigating the incident have closed Georgetown Pike/VA-193 between Colonial Farm Road and Langley Lane, according the Twitter post.
