MCF grants more than $24,400 to local organizations
5 local organizations receive grants
The McLean Community Foundation recently awarded more than $24,400 in grants to the McLean Community. Included in the grants was $9371.60 to the McLean Volunteer Fire Department to finish the restoration of the antique fire truck for the upcoming holiday season.
Other grants included $5000 for a Mobile STEM Lab at Chesterbrook Elementary School and a $5000 donation to SHARE, Inc. of McLean. Additional grantees were the Phoenix House and the McLean Winterfest Celebration.
The McLean Community Foundation (MCF) is a non-profit formed in 1978 by the McLean Citizen's Association to meet the philanthropic needs of a growing McLean community.
