McLean, 3 Other Farmers Markets Open In June
The farmers market will open with guidelines following the governor's executive orders.
MCLEAN, VA — After delayed openings due to the coronavirus pandemic, the McLean Farmers Market and three others operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority will open in June.
The Oak Marr, Annandale, McLean and Kingstowne markets are the latest of the park authority's 10 farmers markets scheduled to open. The Reston, Mount Vernon/McCutcheon, Burke, Wakefield and Lorton farmers markets opened in May. The opening date for the Herndon market has not been announced.
Markets opened in phases "as health conditions allowed and volunteers became available to serve at the markets," according to the park authority. Farmers markets must follow Virginia's phase one reopening guidelines.
