McLean 5K Offers Week-Long Vacation To Winners
Winners of the race can choose their own vacation destination as the prize.

MCLEAN, VA—The 10th annual McLean 5K is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 8 a.m., and it offers some impressive prizes as incentives for runners.
The female and male winners will receive a seven-day Wyndham vacation at a destination of their choosing. Additional awards will go to winners of various age groups.
The race starts and finishes at the McLean Square Shopping Center, 6631 Old Dominion Drive and runs through McLean. Competitive runners, casual runners, walkers, strollers and well-behaved pets are welcome to participate.

Proceeds go to the McLean Community Foundation, which supports community services in McLean such as parks and public safety. The event also promotes Public Safety Appreciation, giving community members an opportunity to meet first responders from the McLean Volunteer Fire Department and McLean District Police Station.
Registration is $35 through Oct. 4 and $40 on race day. Online registration will close on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. Runners receive a commemorative technical race t-shirt (while supplies last). Runners will pick up their packets Friday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Old Fire House Teen Center, 1440 Chain Bridge Road.
