McLean Driver Dies After Vehicle Hits Trees: Police
The driver crashed off the roadway of Dolley Madison Boulevard in McLean, according to Fairfax County Police.

MCLEAN, VA — A driver died after striking trees off the roadway early Sunday in McLean, according to Fairfax County Police.
The crash happened before 2 a.m. at Dolley Madison Boulevard and Waverly Way. The driver of a 2005 Nissan Altima was heading north on Dolley Madison Boulevard and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and struck two trees. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver was identified as Curtis Mathia Rustin IV, 31, of McLean.

Detectives believe speed may have contributed to the crash and continue to investigate if alcohol was a factor. No other vehicles were believed to be involved.
