McLean Firm to Host Former FBI Agent, Fox News Regular for Cyber Security Talk
Savant Capital Management has invited Jeff Lanza to be guest speaker for the event in Potomac this weekend.

An influential McLean capital management firm is hosting a talk this weekend on preventing identity theft, and they've invited a retired FBI special agent who appears regularly on cable news to tell you what you can do to protect yourself.
McLean-based Savant Capital Management is hosting an "Ideal Perspectives" event titled "Simple Safeguards: Preventing Identity Theft" in nearby Potomac, Md. at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, according to a statement. Retired FBI special agent Jeff Lanza, who appears regularly on CNBC and the Fox News Channel, and who has appeared on the Today Show, Good Morning America and NPR's Marketplace, will be the guest speaker.
Lanza will "use real-life FBI cases to expose a world of new and emerging technology threats," the statement notes. Specifically, he will talk about protecting your identity, cyber and credit card fraud, phishing, mobile security and a number of other cyber-related topics.

The event will be held at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm at 10000 Oaklyn Drive in Potomac, Md.
