McLean Hosting Free Safety Program for Seniors This Week

The event will be held at the McLean Community Center and is free for all.

Local officials will be hosting a senior safety program this upcoming Wednesday at the McLean Community Center that will cover such questions as Zika preparedness and financial exploitation of older adults.

The McLean Citizens Association, Dranesville District Supervisor John Foust, Fairfax County Police and the Fire Department are collaborating on the event, which will be held in Community Rooms B and C at the McLean Community Center at 1234 Ingleside Ave. from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, according to a Fairfax County Police Department statement.

The event is free to attend for all residents of the McLean area.
