McLean Man Wins Jeopardy, Returns Monday To Play

Pat McNamee, an accountant from McLean, won Jeopardy Friday and will defend his title Monday.

MCLEAN, VA — Pat McNamee, an accountant from McLean, competed and won Jeopardy on Friday, June 23 and will return as the defending champion Monday.

His winnings from Friday are $7,599. McNamee will compete against a stay-at-home mom and student from Utah.

According to Inside NOVA, McNamee was in second place going into Final Jeopardy, where contestants can bet as much of their cash winnings as they'd like. None of the contestants answered the final question correctly, but McNamee won by having the most cash at the end.

Viewers can watch Jeopardy on ABC7 at 7:30 p.m. Jeopardy is a trivia game show in its 33rd season.
