McLean Restaurant Inspections: Mold Grows On Berries
Mold growing on strawberries was among the latest violations at McLean restaurants.

MCLEAN, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.
“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.
Here are some of the violations from McLean and Tysons inspections in late September and early October. Among the violations was mold growing on strawberries at AMC Theaters in Tysons Corner Center. The violation was corrected during the inspection.
