McLean Woman Awoken by Overnight Intruder
The woman found an unknown man in her home at approximately 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

A McLean resident told Fairfax County Police she awoke to noises made by a man who broke into her home early Thursday morning.
She contacted authorities at approximately 3:25 a.m. after she was awoken in the basement of her home on the 2200 block of McLean Park Road by noises being made upstairs. Upon entering the main level of the house, she found the intruder standing near her bedroom door.
When the suspect discovered he had been spotted, he promptly fled the scene.

The victim described the intruder as a white male in his 20s who was wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident.

- 9100 block of Lee Highway, property from vehicle.
- 9300 block of Lee Highway, license plates from vehicle.
- 2800 block of Rogers Drive, wallet from vehicle.
- 7800 block of Snead Lane, bicycle from residence.
