Mike Isabella Projects Tysons Eatery Opening Near Thanksgiving
Have you seen Mike Isabella's food hall under construction in Tysons? The restaurateur could open all food areas around Thanksgiving.

TYSONS, VA—If you're familiar with the DC restaurant scene, you've probably heard the name Mike Isabella before. Think the classic Italian favorites of G by Mike Isabella or mouthwatering Greek dishes at Kapnos. Isabella, locally named the 2016 Restaurateur of the Year, has restaurants in DC, Arlington, Bethesda, and even Richmond. But soon, Fairfax County residents won't have to go far to dig into his dishes.
Isabella is bringing a food hall to Tysons Galleria in 2017, and DC Eater reports he hopes to open all of its features by Thanksgiving. Isabella Eatery will feature 41,000 square feet of eight different eateries, a bar and private dining space. Isabella tells DC Eater customers will be able to carry around alcoholic drinks throughout the food hall, a new feature for mall goers. The first phase, including the Italian restaurant Graffiato, Non-Fiction Coffee, and Retro Creamery, could open in the fall and the rest by Thanksgiving.

The 10-concept eatery will be Isabella's biggest project to date. Announced in early 2016, the eatery was originally anticipated to open this summer. Isabella's latest projection of opening in the fall is dependent on when renovations finish. The third floor food hall will replace a former food court in the upscale mall.
The features included in Isabella Eatery are:
