The National Weather Service advisory notes that a wind chill of around 5 degrees below zero will continue through mid-morning today.
Temperatures are in the low to mid-teens this morning with winds of 10 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 30 MPH.
The combination of strong winds and cold temperatures may cause hypothermia and frost bite, according to NWS.
The weather service advises taking precautions. A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills.
