New Businesses, Farmers Market Opening At The Boro In Tysons

The mixed-use development is holding live entertainment and new business openings.

TYSONS, VA — Despite the coronavirus pandemic, openings are still occurring at the Boro mixed-use development in Tysons. The development announced new openings and reopenings of businesses in July.

New businesses opening by the end of July include City National Bank and Tasty Kabob. Santouka Ramen is planning to open in August. In addition, FRESHFARM Farmers Markets will operate Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Boro Place beginning on July 30.

According to Tysons Reporter, the Hawaiian-style Poki DC opened at The Boro earlier in July. North Italia has also reopened for dine-in service, and Colour Bar Studio is back open with COVID-19 precautions.

Other restaurants are listed as "coming soon" on The Boro's website. That includes the Australian-inspired coffee shop chain Bluestone Lane, Southern California-style burger spot Caliburger, Mexican restaurant El Bebe, and Open Road from the group behind Merrifield's Open Road Grill.

The Boro is offering a pedestrian-only zone on Thursday and Friday evenings through the end of August for social distancing, outdoor restaurant seating and live entertainment. The development held a sold-out drive-in movie series from June 19 to July 11 in the parking lot of the former NADA headquarters.
