Benefit held at Bloomingdale's Raises Funds for Local Non-Profits

he New Dominion Women’s Club held their 11th annual Spring Fling! benefit fashion show on Sunday, March 18th at Bloomingdale’s. They were thrilled to welcome back Bill Page Toyota as the Platinum Event Sponsor. In addition to the fashion show, the event included an exciting raffle, delicious food and drink, and a shopping opportunity in which Bloomindale’s provided a 10% donation on purchases. The club raised approximately $10,000, and net proceeds will support local non-profit organizations: Friends of Pleasant Grove Church, McLean Project for the Arts, Safe Community Coalition and SHARE, Inc.

“The Spring Fling! has become a significant way for our club to raise funds for our beneficiaries. We owe the event’s enduring success to fabulous partners like Bloomingdale’s,” commented Desi Woltman, NDWC President and Event Chair. “As always, it’s been a pleasure working with their staff; and I’m especially grateful for the professionalism of PR Manager, Analissa Varian and Personal Shopping Manager, Effie Elkorek. They made my role as Event Chair seamless and fun.” Woltman continued, “We were especially grateful to have Bill Page Toyota return as a Platinum Sponsor. Their support will have a very positive impact again this year. We want to thank our wonderful Silver Sponsors as well: Chesterbrook Residences, District Financial Advisors (Bill DuBose), Monica Gibson, Keller Williams Realty; McLean Pool and Spa, McLean Properties and Wheat’s Landscaping.”

The club offers members opportunities to participate in events and hands-on volunteering.
