New Venue for McLean 4th of July Fireworks This Year

Independence Day fun is coming your way in McLean, but the location of the 4th of July fireworks is new this year, according to the McLean Community Center calendar.

This year, the fireworks will take place at Cooper Middle School, 977 Balls Hill Road (near Georgetown Pike) in McLean. Grounds will open at 8 p.m. Admission is free. If it rains, the fireworks show will be held the next night, Sunday, July 5.

Please note there is no parking available on-site:

• Free Shuttle Buses (Handicapped Equipped) at McLean Community Center and St. John’s Episcopal Church
• Disc Jockey
• Snack Vendors

Please note: Smoking, alcohol, glass containers, personal fireworks, weapons and pets are not allowed on school grounds.
