Order Your Holiday Pies: McLean's Star Nut Gourmet to Host Pie Company Nov. 1

With fall in full swing, before you know it, Thanksgiving will be here. You can start to prepare by circling the calendar for Saturday, Nov. 1. From 9 a.m. to noon, McLean’s Star Nut Gourmet will offer you a chance to sample a slice of pie and place your order for Thanksgiving.

Star Nut Gourmet at 1445 Laughlin Ave. in McLean will host Connecticut-Copperthite Pie Baking Company of Georgetown. The pie company will park its 1914 pie delivery truck out front, where you can get your sample of pie and place your order.

If you make a donation for your pie slice sample it will go to ourmilitarykids.org.Our Military Kids provides grants to children of National Guard, Reserve, and Active Duty Wounded Warrior service members.
