Hundreds are showing their support in McLean for Bensten, the 6-year old McLean boy who was seriously injured in a sledding accent.

The Caps hockey team has been extremely supportive for one of their youngest fans.

Jill Sorenson of Comcast Sportsnet reported she spoke to Bensten’s uncle Tyler Friday who told her Bensten has opened his eyes and is making progress. She noted that the family is appreciative of the support of the commuity and to keep the prayers and good wishes coming for their boy.
